I don't really care that I'm using something that was said on Family Guy a long time ago. (Yes. the image belongs to whomever owns Family Guy, not me).
So.....here's what's grinding my gears:
1 - My Amtgard page is driving me crazy. Not long after she was moved into my belt line, she lied to several people to get to Memphis. I was one of those people she lied to. I hate that crap. Don't lie to me about stuff. Be honest. What's really wrong with that situation is the fact she lied to get to Memphis, didn't tell anyone the truth of the matter, then missed fighter practice and our park day. She told me that she would be back to Oxford in time for fighter practice. I find out at 5:30 that night that she won't be back until the next day, which was a Sunday and a regular park meeting day. Was she back in time for that? NOPE. At least 2 lies that weekend. STRIKE!
- What's the problem with it? She lied to me, for one thing, and because we are a brand new park that's small, we need our people to show up. That means, show up to fighter practice and the park day. We need our people, especially those that are going to help us grow our numbers.
Continuing on with her. She comes over and gets dramatic over some of the dumbest things. I let it go because she's (mentally) a teenager. She also gets really irritated with my daughter for being a kid. Yes, I admit I've gotten irritated with my girl because she's a kid. Do I feel bad about it later on? Yes, but I'm allowed to get irritated with my daughter. I GAVE BIRTH TO HER. I nursed her, took care of her when she was ill, etc. She also tries to take over parenting of my child. She has no right to even attempt to discipline her.
More? Okay, since I'm getting all of this off my chest.
She let me know that she was going up to Memphis one weekend to spend time with her man. Okay, cool. She comes back, goes about her classes and stuff, then spends her entire spring break in Memphis. Thanks for letting your squire know.
Volunteering to help run an event 4 days before it's supposed to happen? Should have asked weeks ago when it was made known. Thanks. I think it's covered now.
Now, there's suspicion that she didn't call her shots properly. WTF????? REALLY???? If I find out that it wasn't called right, there's not a whole hell of a lot she can do to come back from that one. I have a very low tolerance for that. It's almost borderline 0 tolerance for it actually.
Oh, yeah. Stepping on toes. Um, no. Know your role.
I really think I'm going to have to set some guidelines for people in my belt line. I'm not going to have people represent myself and my knight in a negative fashion.
I think I'll post more about what's really bugging me later.
